Learn more about Farmers Market Opening Day .
The Main Street Dyersburg Farmers Market began in 2007 and currently hosts over 35 vendors ranging from local farmers to local artisans selling a wide variety of products, including Local produce such as corn, peas, peaches & tomatoes, just to name a few. We also have local honey, handmade soap, handmade pottery, baked goods, quilts, candles, beard oils, paper crafts, jewelry, coffee & much more. Each week we commune on our new "patio" at the picnic tables and enjoy watching LIVE chainsaw art demonstrations, as we listen to live music & enjoy local coffee and cuisine from the market in addition to the featured food truck. Many of our farmers have enrolled in the Tennessee Farmers’ Market Nutrition program and do accept vouchers. Once a month we enjoy "Story Time Saturday" Sponsored by our local library Mciver's Grant Public Library. It's wonderful to see our community come together to support our farmers & local artisans.
Our newest addition to the market is our Butterfly Mural. The Dyer County Adult leadership class commissioned an interactive Butterfly wing mural painted by local artist Jonathan Futch and 2 other smaller wings for children and even smaller wings for pets from the nearby Dog Park. Dyer County Master Gardners also planted a beautiful butterfly garden adjacent to the Mural, there you will find our littlest library, so grab a book or leave one! This project was completed in June, 2022. It celebrates our area being located on the Monarch Butterfly Migration path and serves as a destination to further grow our market & downtown.
We encourage you to not just visit the Market, but enjoy its beautiful surroundings at The Forked Deer River park. In Dyersburg you can Take a hike, in TOWN! Tucked away, down by the river..
