Join Outshine Adventures for a relaxing and challenging experience paddling and doing yoga on a paddleboard (SUP Yoga) on the calm waters of Chickamauga Lake in Chattanooga, TN.
We begin the 90-minute SUP Yoga class with a quick intro and paddle boarding lesson followed by a warm-up paddle to a quiet spot on the lake where we will enjoy a 60-minute yoga session on stable, inflatable paddle boards. (All equipment provided or bring your own for half-price) We finish with a floating savasana and mindful meditation before paddling back to shore. SUP Yoga includes breath awareness and a variety of gentle yoga poses. Adaptations will be provided to accommodate all skill levels.
Our 500 HR certified yoga instructor, Michelle, will offer a safe and encouraging space for you to explore breath and movement while floating on water. Finding stability in constantly changing environments (water | life) can be challenging, and this class offers an opportunity to find balance while experiencing the ebb & flow of the water under your board. Falling may be a part of this practice and provides an opportunity to reset and try again, just like we do in life. Find your joy, while having compassion for yourself and those around you during this fun, mindful SUP yoga class!
