Once again,  biodynamic farmers, organic gardeners, healing arts , craftsmen of all kinds, singers, musicians, dancers, storytellers all come together on the banks of Salt Lick Creek to celebrate the restorative power of nature at this year’s Folk Medicine Festival, this Saturday, June 2rd.

Come join us downtown Red Boiling Springs where there will be two entertainment stages, an Arts and Crafts Market in the Palace Park, Speaker’s Hall , the Folk Medicine Festival Quilt Show located at the RBS Church of Christ building, old skill demonstrations in the City Park,  Old Tyme photography, children’s area and food court at the Palace Care and Rehab.  The Village will have demonstrations from the of basket weaver, wood carver, potter, blacksmith, loom weaver, broom maker, sock knitter and more.

Listen to the stories of Jack, McCall, Karen Davis, enjoy the music of Kinship, Miles Gibson, TN Line Band, the Oak Grove Road kids,  and more.

Information talks with Jeff Poppen, Ila Hatter, Paul and Coree Entwistle, Leslie Hall and Anthony Knight.

The kids area will feature the RBS fire department dunking booth, pony rides by the Monroe Co 4H group, Jumpy houses and face painting and of course, more.

The day will be full and the festival is a little spread out but Dennis Hix and family will be on hand to give you a ride in their horse drawn wagon.

Admission Rates
Free admission to the festival. However, there is a $2 fee to hear the speakers ($2 for each speaker) and a $2 fee to enter the Quilt Show.
