The Guest House at Graceland

You may not be able to stay overnight at the Graceland® mansion, but a new hotel debuting on the grounds of this legendary attraction will get you as close as possible. The Guest House at Graceland, situated just steps north of the Graceland Mansion grounds, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2016. Anticipate 450 guest rooms, two full-service restaurants, a 464-seat theater for live performances and movies, facilities for conferences and special events, and an outdoor pool. Excitement is building for this world class resort, which has been named one of the best and most exciting hotels to open in 2016 by media outlets around the world.

Visually, The Guest House at Graceland takes its cues from Graceland Mansion for a style that’s as unique as the mansion and Elvis™ himself. (Priscilla Presley even supervised the design of some of The Guest House’s specialty suites.) Beyond The Guest House’s genteel Southern colonial exterior, rich interiors suggest a contemporary spin on Graceland style. A palette of striking white and bold gray is punched up with pops of color and effects violet throw pillows; iridescent tiles; soft light playing off of mirrored accent tables; art that frames details just so, like the chromatic trim of a rhinestone-studded jumpsuit or the lustrous fender of an aqua-hued vintage car.

As these subtle nods to Elvis’ personal style create a sophisticated extension of the mansion, generous features and amenities hint at the warm hospitality The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll™ was known for. Guest rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems; concierge services include shuttles to Downtown Memphis and Beale Street. A limited number of Founders Members will enjoy additional exclusive benefits including access to The Founders Club at The Guest House, invitations to special events and concerts, and a private path from The Guest House to Graceland Mansion. When The Guest House at Graceland premiers, it will be one of the largest hotels in the Memphis area and the most significant enhancement to Graceland since the mansion opened to the public in 1982. Expect a sensational grand opening celebration Oct. 27-30, 2016, packed with concerts and appearances by members of the Presley family, Elvis’ friends, music artists and celebrities. Additional special events during the Guest House debut months include the Graceland Christmas lighting ceremony weekend (November 17-20, 2016) and the annual Elvis Birthday Celebration (January 5-8, 2017), which promises to be the biggest birthday celebration in Graceland history.
