ROCKABILLY HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM
The international museum not only features the Southeastern famed rock-n-roll and hillbilly country combo genre, but it also offers line dance classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings to put your moves to the music. Walk through halls of photography, memorabilia, and 1950s hits made famous by Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly.
THE CARNEGIE CENTER FOR ARTS & HISTORY
A 100-year-old Downtown Jackson landmark, the historic Carnegie Center showcases Jackson-raised rocker Carl Perkins "Blue Suede Shoes" treasures, an Eddie Arnold display case, gold records, and miscellaneous rock music memorabilia.
THE NED
The Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center, referred to locally as "The Ned," houses an intimate, high-tech performance space, complemented by a rotating art gallery with student and professional exhibits.
CASEY JONES VILLAGE
The Jackson Plectral Society meets weekly in the Casey Jones Village for open jam sessions, carrying on traditions of old-time string music and contemporary tunes. The free Thursday evening event is open to the public.
