And as you peruse our website and make plans to visit Tennessee Wine Country, we hope you pick-up on the “love of place” that the Great Valley Wine Trail team and member wineries have for our East Tennessee and Tennessee Wines.  It is a wonderful place to live and visit.  We welcome you with open arms to experience Our Tennessee. We encourage you to use a designated driver. Please drink responsibly.

Each of our trail wineries has a unique sense of place.  Your journey on the trail may start from Knoxville with a visit to The Winery at Seven Springs Farm located on the original Woods Farm, where the historic Andrew Jacker (AJ) Woods Distillery operated, and where Knoxville legend Edward “Eddie” Harvey is said to have gotten his start in the moonshining underworld.  On your way, don’t miss the stunning views at Spout Spring Estates Winery and Vineyard or the hospitality offered by Gene and Laura Poland at Goodwater Vineyards.   If your in Pigeon Forge, begin your journey at Hillside Winery where you can sample delicious Italian Style and Sparkling wines .

Explore East Tennessee and discover our Tennessee wines on the Great Valley Wine Trail.  Try our award winning wines made from Tennessee grown grapes that include Traminette, Chambourcin, Seyval, and Muscadine, to name a few.  If you have not experienced them yet, you are in for a treat.
