Brought back to life after closing during Prohibition 100 years ago, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery in Nashville is making whiskey again from the more than century old family recipe. Brothers Charles and Andy Nelson are producing whiskey under same brand started by their great-great-great-grandfather – Belle Meade Bourbon, which dates back to pre-Prohibition. The whiskey is handcrafted in small batches with four barrels selected per batch.
