Look for the downstream section below Center Hill Dam to be a great spot for rainbow, brown and brook trout. Stripers are at the river's mouth, opposite Carthage. Popular fishing techniques on Caney Fork are fly fishing, bottom (or bait) fishing and fishing with lures. To fish on Caney Fork, you must have a Tennessee fishing license and a trout stamp.
