More than 100 homes and structures are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can tour several of these buildings year round including Harriman's Carnegie Library celebrating 100 years in 2009 and the Temperance Building home of the Harriman Heritage Museum. Many of the homes and structures can be toured during The Historic Harriman Christmas Tour held on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday in December.
