James White Fort is located at 205 East Hill Avenue in downtown Knoxville, directly across the street from the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame and within walking distance of other attractions such as Blount Mansion, Market Square, Krutch Park, Volunteer Landing, Alex Haley Park and the Old City. Free trolley rides are available to James White's Fort and other downtown sites from World's Fair Park and the UT Campus. Signs are available throughout the downtown area pointing to the Fort.
