Historic homeplace of candy legend, Frank Mars who purchased the farm after the success of his Milky Way candy bar which led the world in popularity in 1930. Today the fine craftsmanship of all who worked there is evident in the 25000 sq ft manor house, barns, and rock walls. The property is known for its historical significance, amazing views, architecture, magnolia plantation, and 1940 Kentucky Derby winner, Gallahadion. The main farm entrance is between Columbia and Pulaski on US 31 just south of Richland School. Enter at the race track entrance with stone columns and the iron arch of Milky Way Farm. Proceed along the white fencing, drive half way around the circle and take the next right along the magnolias to the Manor House.
