Lacassas Loop - Lacassas

Located east of Nashville near Murfreesboro, the Lacassas Loop offers a picturesque journey with stunning scenery and a challenging workout. From expansive, open spaces perfect for stretching your legs to challenging climbs that test your endurance, this loop promises a diverse and exhilarating ride.  Along the way, you’ll discover a number of beautiful waterfalls to visit along your travels. Definitely be sure to check out Twin Falls at Rock Island State Park, one of Tennessee’s many national treasures and truly captivating outdoor wonders. Old Stone Fort State Archeological Park in Manchester is also nearby and offers a variety of smaller waterfalls paired with historic Native American structures and artifacts in the on-site museum dating back thousands of years.

Erin Loop - Erin

Embark on a cycling adventure along the Erin Loop and experience the beauty of Tennessee’s scenic countryside. With a harmonious blend of open fields, tranquil wooded stretches, and scenic creekside paths, this route will be a memorable one, complete with formidable climbs. Nearby the route is the lesser-known Narrows of the Harpeth located at Harpeth River State Park in Kingston Springs. Walk a half-mile trail along the backside of the limestone bluff and discover the site of Montgomery Bell’s Pattison Forge where a small waterfall is what remains of the old iron forge operation.

Rome Loop - Lebanon

Nearby the loop, you can find Cummins Falls in Cookeville, yet another stunning Tennessee gem and the state’s eighth largest waterfall. A hike down into the gorge to view the majestic waterfall is well-worth it, and if you bring your swimsuit, you can even take a dip to cool off. Please note: A gorge access permit is required to enter the gorge, so be sure to grab one on the Tennessee State Parks website before making the trek.
