Since 1936, country cooking has meant just one thing to the folks of Hickman County, Tennessee:  "The Beacon Light Tea Room"

Built by H.O. Ramsey, this small brick restaurant on Highway 100 (just west of Nashville, in Bon Aqua, TN) has always been known for it's country ham, skillet fried chicken, hot biscuits and home-made preserves.   Change doesn't happen quickly in these parts, and the Beacon Light continues with essentially the same good food it has served since it's opening so many years ago.

Much appreciation is owed to several that have carried on the Beacon Light tradition:  Lon and Annie Loveless and Gurline Luna to name a few.   Now the current owners (the Winn family- pictured below) are proud to carry on the traditions of providing great service with high quality good old Southern cooking!

If you're hungry for some good old- fashioned Southern cooking, you'd better get here quick! Our servers are friendly and the fried chicken is fresh and hot! Don't worry, we've got plenty of room, AND plenty of biscuits to go around. Breakfast, Lunch or  Dinner- just come on over, the sooner the better!  You'll be glad you did!
