East Tennessee's WDVX is 88.9 FM in Clinton, Tennessee, 102.9 in Knoxville, and 93.9 in Seymour, Tennessee. A listener-supported community radio station. WDVX plays a mix, offering something for every taste, including bluegrass, Americana, classic country, alternative country, western swing, blues, old time and traditional mountain music, bluegrass gospel, Celtic and folk music. For listener entertainment, we throw in a little roots music from the other parts of the world, some good old rock ‘n' roll and, the latest releases in Americana music. WDVX offers listeners a variety of specialty programs starring music you won't hear anywhere else.

Created in 1997, the WDVX "Blue Plate Special" program started broadcasting the same year, as a community public radio station from a 14-foot camper studio in Norris, Tennessee. In 2004, the Blue Plate Special started producing live shows in front of an audience at its new home in the Knoxville Visitors Center. The program is now a signature of downtown Knoxville and East Tennessee.
