Important information for West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center – Brownsville
Plows, fertilizers and planters pulled by mules and horses are on display at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center to help tell the story of West Tennessee's cash crop: cotton. An old roller gin, cotton baskets and sacks are also displayed. Kids can see 11 species of catfish, a model of the alligator snapping turtle, and hear stories from Uncle Luther, modeled after the late Luther Windrow who grew up on the Hatchie River.

An immersive experience of a wide range of topics is just inside this multi-million dollar museum and one of the top family attractions in Tennessee, Discovery Park of America. The 50-acre heritage park houses historic structures like a grist mill, century-old church, pioneer village and more. Inside, you'll find 100,000 square feet of museum space that houses natural history artifacts, antique cars, military vehicles, Native American history and more.
- Accessiblity: Exhibits, restaurants, attractions and retail spaces are wheelchair accessible. Large amount of seating is available on each floor. Certain sections of Discovery Park can be made available for a visit before or after hours with advance notice for those with autism and sensory sensitivities. A sensory-safe nurse's station as well as a medical room is available. A nurse is usually on staff during operating hours. Large restrooms are located on the main entrance level off the lobby on the lower level off Art Hall. Outside, restrooms can be found on each side of the park.
