Trails & Trilliums Offers Family Adventure Days for Young Naturalists
Bring your children or grandchildren to enjoy two full days of outdoor fun, brought to you by the staff of Cumberland Forest School—Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21.
Registration is required this year to assist in planning. A full-day pass costs only $5.00 per person. Go to www.TrailsAndTrilliums.org and select Family from the scroll bar.
Highlights Include:
- Ranger George Shinn as Davy Crockett— long rifle, buckskin and all
- Hands-on wildlife programs with TWRA educator/rehabilitators Margaret Martens and Beth Girard. Meet their friendly snakes, turtles, toads, salamanders and more
- Guided nature hikes to the Vesper Point Overlook
- Rope climbing
- Fort building in the woods
- Make your own Fairy House
- Marshmallow roasting
