Since 1973, the National Storytelling Festival has been the premier storytelling event in the United States, hosting international voices from the storytelling capital of the world.

The Festival brings together over 20 professional storytellers who tell their tales in big top tents across picturesque Jonesborough, TN. Stories range from folktales and lies to cowboy poetry and personal narratives - there is something for everyone! Beyond the stories, you can hear music, comedy, partake in the story slam, or hear a curated storytelling studio.
