Visit Our Site

Beautiful gardens and forest welcome the visitor. Trails wind through terraced beds around a 2-acre lake and creek. Groups of 15 or more may have lunch by reservation from April thru July. Admission by Donation. There are 160 acres of unspoiled Tennessee forest, nestled in the Great Valley between the Smoky Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau about halfway between Knoxville and Chattanooga. This is a small Tennessee agribusiness, operated by Dave and Vicki Rhyne with a few seasonal employees.

There are plant sales for Daylilies and Hosta, an outdoor wedding site, reception center and event center. The Gardens of Sunshine Hollow displays thousands of perennials (including daylilies, hosta, roses, dahlias, cannas and iris), numerous annuals, and various shrubs on more than 20 acres. Hundreds of varieties of Daylilies and Hosta are available for purchase, with most also available to order online.

Sunshine Hollow Bakery specializes in pecan fruitcakes—including sales for cakes, nuts and jams.
