The Sumner County Museum is a three-story building filled with artifacts from the Sumner County area from Indian items to various wars to pioneer days to period clothing to blacksmith shop to tinsmith shop, etc. Standing three stories tall and spanning more than 10,000 square feet, the museum is home to more than 250,000 artifacts including those recovered from archeological digs at Bledsoe Fort. The museum houses many items that were once owned by local music stars as well as objects from the world famous Randy's Records Shop. The museum includes Native American and African-American displays, an early 18th century kitchen, a working and complete tinsmith shop, models of the USS Sumner County and the Roxy Theatre and antique toys and cars.
