Jonesborough's Town Tours take visitors on a storied stroll down Main Street. Costumed guides will share with you the history of the buildings and the people who made their lives within. Take a walking tour at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in March-December. Tickets are only $5.00 per person and can be purchased directly at the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum on Main Street. Tours depart from the Museum and usually last an hour. There’s never a bad time of day to tour Tennessee’s Oldest Town.
You can also put your history detective skills to use with the Jonesborough Mythbusting Tour. Think you can separate the myths from the facts? The Mythbusting Tour and the Railroad History Tour are available upon special request.
