We visited Mountain Hollow as part of a Yarn Crawl here in East Tennessee. We had never heard of this place, and we were SO pleasantly surprised to visit this quaint little shop on a gravel road in Claiborne County, Tennessee!
The shop is just dripping with character! It is a former general store that was built in the 1930's. It has been restored beautifully, and has been in operation for about five years. Everything from yarn, to candles, to hand lotions and soaps to salad dressing (!) are available here.
If you are within an hour of this place (maybe two) it would be a great place to visit. The drive up is beautiful, and the owner (I never got her name!) is delightful and VERY talented at knitting/crocheting. She offers classes and even knitting retreats twice a year!
