Why "Discover Scott"?

Whitewater enthusiasts know the Big South Fork River for its amazing whitewater paddling opportunities. ATV enthusiasts know Brimstone Recreation and the North Cumberland for the hundreds of miles of trails that await. And mountain bikers, rock climbers, and others are just beginning to discover this mecca of outdoors recreation on the northern Cumberland Plateau.

"When you look at a map, and you look at the Big South Fork NRRA, Brimstone, Daniel Boone National Forest, Frozen Head State Park, Historic Rugby, and on and on, and then you place your finger directly in the center of it all, you’re in Scott County, Tennessee,”
We would like to invite you and your family to come and explore what we like to think of as the Center of the Universe for Adventure Tourism. Come out and "Discover Scott."
