As of October 11, 2021 — This viewfinder is temporarily out of order.
The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development outfitted this colorblind viewfinder with innovative EnChroma® lenses, designed to alleviate red-green colorblindness. Special lens technology enables those with colorblindness to see a broader range of clear, vibrant colors. Now, even more travelers and residents alike can experience Tennessee's beauty!
This viewfinder is located outside of the National Cherohala Skyway, 18 miles from the Cherohala Skyway Visitor Center (just past mile marker 18).
From this viewfinder, take in Tennessee’s beauty from the Lake View Scenic Overlook. The 5,400-foot elevation makes for memorable views. It’s also a great place to gaze at the stars with a mostly northern view. Nearby is Bald River Falls, the Charles Hall Museum, and a bakery.
