This Tennessee gem lives at the intersection of history, style and functionality in the tiny town of Lynnville. Gary Littleton started the company in the late 1980s, disappointed in the lack of heirloom-quality products being created in modern times. What began as an experiment selling vintage cufflinks and pocket knives soon shifted towards personalized gifts and leather items.
Built on a vintage aesthetic with attention to detail, the handcrafted products are designed to become tomorrow’s heirlooms, made to be passed down from generation to generation. While many of the pieces are timeless designs (think sturdy leather bags patterned after 1800s stagecoach luggage), the company also stays current with handsome leather iPad and iPhone covers, briefcases and other tech accessories.
Colonel Littleton’s products have been featured nationally in Marie Claire, Southern Living and Lucky magazines. The Colonel ships to over 900 apparel stores and outdoor shops in the U.S., and each item comes with a story and a miniature Moon Pie.
