Humboldt is home to Herbie Town, a slice of 1800s Americana and the Old West. Visitors can stroll along the street, stop by the bank, attend church, check out the Stagecoach Inn along with the livery stable, blacksmith and welding shop. Even though there is a jail, it is said that there are no trials in Herbie Town! Children and adults alike delight in the casual lifestyle of the town, where the population is two.

The former Humboldt City Hall was designed in 1912 in the Neoclassical style, flanked by tall columns and a domed roof. This impressive building is now home to the permanent fine arts collections found at West Tennessee Regional Arts Center. Upper galleries feature the distinctive Caldwell Collection of paintings, sculpture, lithographs and works by more than 30 nationally known artists. The downstairs galleries provide a changing, eclectic showcase of regional art, while the spacious lobby features West Tennessee artists. 

Humboldts West Tennessee Strawberry Festival is one of the oldest and best festivals in the state. The weeklong festival in early May is filled with parades, a carnival, street dance and beauty pageants. Crown Winery offers free wine tastings on Wine Down Friday nights with live music on the patio and tours by reservation.
