Welch's Point – Sparta

Drive to Welch's Point for a breathtaking overlook of virgin forest hiding caves, rare plants, waterfalls and the Caney Fork River slicing a silver ribbon through the deep gorge.

Walls of Jericho – Belvidere

Snooper's Rock – Chattanooga

Hike the half-mile to the Snooper's Rock overlook of the Tennessee River Gorge, where meandering oxbows bisect the Cumberland Plateau; or, take the 6.8-mile round-trip over rocks and tree roots.

Polly Branch – Sparta

Explore the Polly Branch trail area in the Bridgestone/Firestone Centennial Wilderness, flush with waterfalls, hiking trails, bluffs and primitive campsites.

Virgin Falls – Sparta

Nearby Virgin Falls is formed by an underground stream that emerges from a cave and cascades 110 feet before disappearing into another cave at the bottom of the sink.
