Discover a mountain of family fun at Anakeesta, Tennessee’s award-winning outdoor attraction nestled above and in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. Admission includes all day access to the park with unlimited rides on our scenic chondola where you can choose an open air-chair or an enclosed gondola cabin. For guests who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, unlimited rides on the Ridge Rambler Adventure vehicle provide a scenic ride through Smoky Mountains with access to the summit.

Your adventure begins at Firefly Village, a whimsical mountain town with quaint shopping, cozy atmosphere, and scenic views. Grab a table at the Smokehouse with outdoor dining overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg and enjoy mouth-watering Southern BBQ smoked fresh every day. Then satisfy your sweet tooth with Blue Bell ice cream, milkshakes, pastries and cookies at Pearl's Pie in the Sky

Wander your way through the park to Black Bear Village where you can enjoy elevated, indoor dining with scenic mountain views at Cliff Top and explore a menu featuring the very best modern American cuisine. Views of Mt. LeConte can be enjoyed from every table! Looking for a quick bite? Kephart Cafe, serves up fresh made flatbreads, gourmet hotdogs and flavorful desserts that the whole family will enjoy. The Memorial Forest Walk is an homage to those impacted by the Chimney Top II fires of 2016.  Learn about the impact to Anakeesta and read how the land and our community overcame adversity to become ‘Mountain Tough.’

Looking for good brews and great views? Grab a local craft beer from the Tap House and sit at our Bar at the End of the World, or grab a spot at an outdoor fire circle and gather with friends to enjoy the panoramic views and vistas of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Outdoor adventures abound at Anakeesta!  Stroll through the scenic Treetop Skywalk, a series of 14 hanging bridges more than 50 feet in the air and get a bird’s eye view of the forest floor below. Kids will love the imaginative play at Treehouse Village and will challenge their skills at BearVenture and TreeVenture challenge courses.

Beat the heat and cool off at our nature-themed Splash Pad. Kids can dodge and play as fresh water jets spring forth from boulders, otters, fish, elk, bears and even a giant salamander at the base of this Tennessee-themed waterfall.

Next, immerse yourself in the beauty of Vista Gardens, a lush multi-sensory garden with meandering trails, interactive play, shaded seating and thousands of flowers, shrubs and trees that will delight your senses. With our newly-opened ADA Walkway Ramp, all guests will be able to enjoy the serenity of our mountaintop garden. Look closely and you might spot one of our resident gnomes or fairies, visit with Willow, our keeper of the forest, then pose with loved ones at our iconic heart-shaped twigloo. AnaVista Observation Tower, Downtown Gatlinburg’s highest point, sits at the summit of Vista Gardens. Climb to the top and take in the 360-degree views and discover the best photo spot at Anakeesta! Take your visit to new heights atop this 60-foot structure where peaks as far away as Kentucky can be seen. This unique tower is the only one of its kind in the world! After taking a trip up the tower, guests can enjoy the views of the Smoky Mountains at Vista Plaza with a refreshing beverage or snack from our newest shop and eatery, the Watering Can.

Is shopping more your idea of adventure? Find the perfect gift to take home to family and friends at the Great Outdoors Trading Company, Catching Fireflies, the Mercantile, Watering Can or the Adventure Outpost.

It’s not family friendly if it’s not a family value! All of the above adventures are included in the cost of general admission.

Looking for even more adventure? Thrill seekers will love the chance to add our award winning Dueling Zipline Adventure to their experience as they soar through the treetops side-by-side with a friend. Our trained guides will keep you entertained as you fly through the sky on three exciting zips and two heart pounding rappel drops. Then add on a coaster ride and race down the mountainside on the Rail Runner Mountain Coaster, the only single rail coaster in the US!  You control the speeds that can get up to 25 MPH!

Kids of all ages will love finding their special gem or fossil treasures at the Anakeesta Gem Mining adventure.

Anakeesta offers all the best in outdoor adventure, mountain top dining, shopping and relaxation.  We hope you join us in discovering the magic in the mountains at Anakeesta!
