
What's black and white and cute all over? Giant pandas Ya Ya and Le Le at the Memphis Zoo! The Memphis Zoo is located in Midtown Memphis and is home to more than 3,500 animals representing over 500 different species. Memphis Zoo was founded in 1906 and resides on 70 acres in the middle of Overton Park. Memphis Zoo was recently named as one of the top zoos in the country by USA Today and Trip Advisor. Since the early 1990s, the Memphis Zoo has invested over $116 million in renovation and expansion. The zoo's animal inhabitants reside in one-of-a-kind exhibits such as Zambezi River Hippo Camp, Teton Trek, Northwest Passage, and China. The Memphis Zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Admission is Free for Tennessee residents on Tuesday after 2 pm.
