Learn more about Rose Center Council for the Arts.
Housed in a Victorian schoolhouse, Rose Center for the Arts is the cultural and performing arts hub of the Lakeway area. It features an art gallery with changing exhibits, various adult and youth classes, a wide variety of musical performances, and much more. Many local artists offer their works for sale in the Center's sales gallery. Annual events such as the Mid-Summer Social art auction, the From Africa to Appalachia exhibit, the Java Jive cabaret series, and Music at the Rose concert series call the Rose Center home. It is also the location of the award-winning Mountain Makins festival, a celebration of Appalachian culture and folklife. The Center's signature event, Mountain Makins, is part of the Tennessee Music Pathways.
